    The Testing Organisation will work effectively with the Kingfisher business areas to ensure that the right level of governance is applied to mitigate quality issues for our customers and colleagues.  This Governance will provide assurance that our business is equipped to be proactive in test planning in the immediate future and ensure that we have strategic goals for the future which all teams can work toward at an appropriate pace.


    The Test Manager will facilitate and govern the delivery of testing for Kingfisher


    We’re looking for someone who will provide Test Governance for the Programme / Project and drive the Test Management process across Kingfisher as well as govern the test deliverables for agreed releases. 


    You will define the Test Strategies / Test Plans and Approaches and be responsible for quality requirements (test types required relating to which high level requirements), schedule, architecture and business agreements, expected testing outcomes (assets, governance reports), QA requirement (based on test types required and schedule), environment requirements (integration / performance etc), test resource requirement (based on delivery time / scope and cost) and be responsible for stakeholder management (governance reports based on the quality requirements agreed / status updates) and quality gate reports for live deployments, report on test metrics provided by the testing teams and work within the parameters of the Test Strategy. 


    You will be responsible for building up and leading the Testing Team to the success of project, defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery, deploying and managing resources for testing, applying the apporpriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team as well as planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given engagement. 


    We’re expecting you to have great leadership, test strategy & management, planning and forecasting, budget planning & management, business case development skills as well as strong knowledge of testing types and when to apply.  You will have strong negotiation skills, have strategic, visionary thinking, be commercially minded, be decisive & pragmatic, be someone who empowers others and be able to drive improvements


    You will work closely with Business Stakeholders, Programme Managers / Leads, Test Leads as well as other Kingfisher Testing Teams
